DragRacing 2021 national championship final, summary:
AP3 group:
Audi S3 2.8VR6 Turbo quattro DSG - 1000 + hp - 9.3s.
We managed to go through only one full run, on low boost, because 3 out of 4 runs were marred by a faulty connection. I fixed the situation, but too late. Despite the unpleasant ones, we are still glad that we have solved all the previous hardware problems and we can continue confidently towards the 8.x target.
Group S3:
????Place 2: Mini Cooper 1.6T Fwd - 450cp- Best time 12.2s.
The variant from this stage was a "Beta", followed by important upgrades.
Group S6:
????Place 2: Audi S3 1.8T quattro DSG - 780hp - Best time 10.5s. In the break between stages, we decided to replace the old engine management "race" with a dedicated variant (#IgnitronECU), because the car runs 99% of the time under normal street conditions. The time was too short and our colleague Alex being already champion in the S6 group, we decided that this stage should be one dedicated to testing.
????Place 3: VW Golf 2 VR6 Turbo 4motion DSG - ~ 600hp - Best time and personal record, 10.5s 1.9 60ft. Surprise for us, considering that this was the first participation in the DSG variant, swap made entirely in the last 2 days. The engine is with internal stock (!) And ran 2 years (2020-2021) without problems. Performance requires sacrifice, so ... Important upgrades follow!
???? Audi A3 1.8T quattro DSG - 740hp - Best time 10.4s. After 2 whole seasons of stress, today the clutches gave up. It should be noted that they were stock, unchanged. ????

Audi A3 R32Turbo quattro DSG - 780hp - Best Time 10.5s. A failure of the power supply system did not allow us to run at full capacity.
